SEBI Revises the Format of the Quarterly Report Submitted by FVCIs on Venture Capital Activity

As per Regulation 13(1) of SEBI (FVCI) Regulations, 2000, Foreign Venture Capital Investors (FVCIs) must submit quarterly reports to SEBI in the format specified with respect to their venture capital activity as FVCI. Now, the SEBI has revised the report’s format. FVCIs must submit the quarterly report even if no investment is made during the quarter.

Further, the report for the quarter ending Sep 30, 2024, and Dec 31, 2024, must be submitted via email in an Excel file by Nov 15, 2024, and Jan 15, 2025. From the quarter ending March 31, 2025 onwards, FVCIs must submit quarterly report in the revised format on the SEBI intermediary portal. The report must be submitted within 15 calendar days from the end of each quarter.
