SEBI Notifies Format for Submitting Required Information for Registration as ‘Migrated Venture Capital Fund’

Migrated Venture Capital Fund

Circular No. SEBI/HO/AFD/AFD-POD-1/P/CIR/2024/111, Dated: 19.08.2024

Earlier, SEBI amended the Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) Regulations to provide flexibility to Venture Capital Funds (VCFs) registered under the erstwhile SEBI (VCF) Regulations, 1996, to migrate to AIF Regulations. An application for seeking registration as a Migrated VCF must be made to SEBI along with the original certificate of registration and requisite information in the format notified via the present circular. This circular shall come into force with immediate effect.
