SEBI has notified the SEBI (Alternative Investment Funds) (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2024. A new chapter III-D w.r.t ‘migrated venture capital fund’ has been introduced. The provisions of this Chapter shall apply only to migrated venture capital funds and schemes launched by such funds. Further, SEBI has prescribed the eligibility conditions & procedure for the grant of the certificate as a migrated venture capital fund. Also, the term ‘migrated venture capital fund’ has been defined under the chapter.
