SEBI Extends the Deadline for Implementation of New SCORES Norms to April 2024

SEBI/HO/OIAE/IGRD/CIR/P/2023/18 dated 01/12/2023
Earlier, the SEBI vide. Circular no. SEBI/HO/OIAE/IGRD/CIR/P/2023/156 dated 20th Sep 2023 had notified norms w.r.t to the redressal of investor grievances through the SEBI Complaint Redressal (SCORES) Platform and linking it to Online Dispute Resolution platform. As per the said circular the new norms would be implemented from 04.12.2023 2023. However, the SEBI has now extended the date of implementation to 01.04.2024. The SEBI however, clarified that the entities, shall continue to submit the Action Taken Report (“ATR”) on SCORES within 21 calendar days from the date of receipt of the complaint as directed in circular.
