Provisions relating to the additional fee under Amendment Act, 2017 and 2020 Act is effective from Jul 1, 2022; MCA notifies

MCA has notified July 1, 2022, as the date on which the provisions of Sec. 56 of the Companies (Amendment Act), 2020, and the provision of the second and third proviso to Sec. 80(i) of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2017 shall come into force. Both the amendments relate to Section 403 of the Companies, Act, 2013 empowering the Govt. to prescribe additional fees for delay in filing forms or submitting any required documents under the Act.
