Facts of the Case
In the matter relating to the validity of GST on Royalty fees payable by the Mining Companies, the Supreme Court has rejected a few of the petitions. These petitions are rejected on the ground of the availability of the alternate and efficacious remedy of moving the concerned High Courts under article 226 of the Constitution.
The matter was listed for hearing today (i.e. April 21, 2022) and the same has further been postponed.
