ICAI Releases’ Technical Guide’ on Reports of Audit under Sec. 12A/10(23C)

The Direct Taxes Committee (DTC) of ICAI released the Technical Guide on Audit Reports under section 12A/10(23C) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. The Technical Guide has been precisely drafted to provide Chartered Accountants with a deep and insightful understanding of the taxation aspects of Charitable Trusts and Institutions.
The Technical Guide covers the provisions of section 10(23C) (iv)/(v)/(vi)/(via), sections 11 and 12, along with its allied rules and audit reports in relation to Charitable Trusts and institutions. The object of this Technical Guide is to guide the auditors in the conduct of audit under sections 12A and 10(23C).
