IBBI has released a discussion paper on the rationalization of the regulatory framework to enhance the effectiveness of Insolvency Professional Entities (IPEs) in the IRP. The discussion paper covers issues such as monitoring of IPEs acting as IPs, defining related parties for IPEs acting as IPs, establishing the minimum fee structure for IPEs acting as IPs and imposing restrictions on the number of assignments undertaken by an IP.
