Govt. appoints Ms. Smita Jhingran as a full time member of the NFRA

The Central Government has appointed Ms. Smita Jhingran as the full time member of the National Financial Reporting Authority for a period of three years with effect from the 19th April 2022 (forenoon) i.e. the date on which she entered her office, or till she attains the age of sixty-five years, whichever is earlier. She was an officer of the Indian Revenue Service. She holds an M.Phil in Defence and Strategic Studies, a masters’ in Economics, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
